canadian maritime and quebec ports

hi. i posted a similar message on 'all things cruising', but thought maybe the experts could help me out. cruising on may8 from ftlaud to montreal on the maasdam -- 15 days. i am 'cool' with most of the ports because i've been to them; but. . . sagueny, sept-iles, and gaspe have me mystified. hal doesn't even have shore excursions posted for the last two ports mentioined, and sagueny looks bleak, though i know the fjord is magnificent from experience. any recommendations from you experienced ones, or are these basically just stay aboard days????? thanks for any advice. ps: i have pulled up these places on the internet, and they are devoid of much information.
