Flights - when to book

We have a cruise booked with Celebrity out of Miami in December. We need to book a flight from the UK. Any advice on how far ahead we need to book to have reasonable prices but still get a flight? ie current prices are around £300 but for December about £600+

I would just keep checking and when the flights are at a good price, go ahead and book them. They really do change, almost daily, so keep an eye out.

A few months before you shall fly is normally enough. If you shall fly around christmas, maybe you need to book soon!

Will you be flying from London? I looked at British Airways website five minutes ago and the prices from Heathrow to Miami was around £400 in December. I guess that some dates might cost more.

Many airlines just announced sails good through November. You can take a chance on waiting for the last minute, but I find prices tend to go up rather than down as the datre gets closer - depending on the season.
