Default Cruise Ship Gentlemen Host Program ?

The Gentlemen Host Program is like a protected species. I am looking into this program for myself and would like any web sites, contacts, or best cruise line to work for?

I qualify over 60, ballroom dancer, and very much a people person. Is it normal to charge for appling or is that just the price you pay to work on cruise ships? Can anyone give me so straight talk about this program? Thankz!

Steven

Default Gentlemen Host Program

Hola.
That's two cruise lines I will focus on for employment(HAL & Crystal). Is there any news about the port of Galveston, Tx.? If this Gentlemen Host position works out, that would be the closest large port to me in New Mexico. Does anyone know someone who is a Gentlemen Host? I know its not like the movie "OUT TO SEA"? I just mite be getting closer, thanks MTL & Marty, every little bit will help. Good Sail'in ya all !

just google "cruise ship gentleman hosts"

It has been quite a few years since we did this story but I will mention two names "sixthstar" and "Lauretta Blake", However, most cruise lines hire them directly, I would apply with Crystal, Cunard, Holland America, Regent and probably Princess.

I suggest you have nice pictures of yourself in a tux, video of yourself dancing (upload it to YouTube) and a resume of your life (to show you never did time or have an alias).

Good luck!

Don't worry about Princess, they stopped their Gentleman Host programme in the mid 90's. I agree that HAL, Crystal and Regent are the ones to go for....
