I need help with figuring out how to get from our hotel to pier 91. I could rent a shuttle for $56 for a less than 4 mile ride. I could get a taxi but it seems that from what I read they are not very good when holding 4 adults. Recommendations?
Does the cruise line offer a transfer service? We are leaving out of Seattle for the Inside Passage at the end of June and we have arranged for Pricess to do our transfers. It's running about $24 each way. Last year we did this exact same cruise and we used a service called The Transfer Answer. It was OK, but there were lots of folks packed in the van and it wasn't much cheaper than Princess, plus we made lots of stops before we got to the pier.

Yes Princess does offer transfers. But we are flying in from Ohio a day early, because the flight offered by Princess were extremely over priced. So that is why I'm trying to find something reliable to go from the hotel to the pier.
You might want to contact your travel agent and see if you can still get the Princess transfer. Although, whether they pick up where you will be staying might be an issue. Good luck and have fun!
Not sure if it is too late by now, but many Hotels offer a complimentary shuttle service within a few mile radius. You could call and ask the hotel. They may also be able to suggest a better deal. I have never been in a cab, but someone told me that for a few mile trip they are reasonable. Hope that helps!

A Princess transfer really doesn't sound like an option. Transfers are usually from the airport to the pier.
Find out if the hotel provides transfers and if there is a charge. If they don't have a transfer or the cost is high I would just call the front desk, before checkout, and have them call for a minivan/SUV taxi to take you to the pier. You might have a bit of a wait but you will be able to get one that will handle four people and a reasonable amount of luggage.

My sister and I paid about $20 for a cab from the downtown Seattle to Pier 91. Even if you had to take 2 cabs, it's still reasonable IMO. Princess' transfer won't work unless you're at the airport. Where are you staying?
