Default taking drinks onboard

I don't want to smuggle liquor onboard as meds don't allow me to drink but would like to know if I can take NA beer and ginger ale in my carryon. Water and iced tea etc. get boring and I don't drink coke. Any help would be appreciated.

Many folks do bring their own favorite beverage.

You should be familiar with the speciifc cruiselines policies so that, in case yours is removed, you will at least have been aware that it is possible that they would be confiscated.

If you are flying to the port buy the beverages at a store in the port city...don't pack it before the flight!

Packing in sealable bags is good or enclosed in beach towels just in case they rupture. That way no important clothes are damaged.

Phil & Liz have good advice...check with your particular cruiseline.

We have brought onboard sparkling water and juices on Celebrity and never had a problem.

I would consider the non alcoholic beer, akin to soda, or as we say in Boston, Tonic So much easier to buy it close to the port if this is an option, as mentioned....

as long as you bring aboard a reasonable quantity it shouldn't be a problem, especially if the beverage isn't available on the ship, as the others have said, by your beverages at each port.
