check out this site for information....I do believe there are strict regulations as to group sizes etc, as this is an ecological area, and is quite protected.

I watched something on TV about the Galapagos, and I believe the only way to get there is to fly to Ecuador (hope I got that right), then sign up for a trp via small boat to the island. I would love to see them, but cruise ships have too many passengers for the restrictions. I suggest you google it to find out for certain.

Thank you very much for replying. I was told that some of the panama canal cruises on Princess do have one port in the galapagos. And i have found some catamarans that go there. I will keep researching. :) Thanks!

Galapagos

Asked an avid friend about her trip to the Galapagos..and when we should go..her answer....twenty years ago... This is a very active retired couple in excellent physical shape and said it was extremely difficult and most members on their ship kept falling even with sticks... So do it while your young..lol

Celebrity Xpedition has numerous cruises to the Galapagos Islands. The ship leaves from Quito, Ecuador and cruises to the Galapagos.

The cruises include overnight hotel in Quito and included tours in the Galapagos.

I know this would be the cruise of a lifetime.

Take care,
Mike

Galapagos Cruises is another one that has cruises to the Galapagos. We traveled with them a few years ago. They come highly recommended.
