I'd recommend the side of the ship I'm not on, as the sight of me naked on the balcony could make you sick
If memory serves, the last time we sailed a similar itin. on Island Princess, in Honolulu the port side had the view to the Aloha Tower, and in Kaui the starboard side faced the port area. Maui is at tender, so the ship moves around a bit with the currents.
That's not to say that way the ship docks in port is consistant though. That's dependant on a number of things, so there is no hard and fast rule.
Nice to hear you are going to come along. It's a fast growing group, and I know we're going to have a super time!
We are booked! We decided on the port side, same area as our last cruise so maybe I will not spend half of the cruise wandering around lost. The location worked good last time, its near the back of the ship where the traditional dining room is. Thats a big plus in my book, trying to walk the length of the ship in high heels on formal night is out of the question! Also just a short piece down the hall is a door that goes out to the aft pool area, a big plus on this cruise (didn't have any use for it in Alaska).
I know we are port side aft too...B742 to be exact. If anyone has any comments or well heck I'll take some nice pictures (of the room, not a nekkid Kuki) I think we all saw enough of that on the last group cruise
