Christmas Day in Nassau

Hi All,

Can someone tell me if there is anything open in Nassau on Christmas Day? My husband and I are thinking about taking the Monarch OTS over Christmas this year, and it docks in Nassau on Christmas Day. I wanted to take him to Fish Fry - he has not been there. I would imagine Atlantis will be in full swing - so we can always hang out there if nothing else is open.

I just spoke to the tourism bureau in Nassau..Store opening/closings are by choice, by the shop keeeper,so one year that store could be open,and one year it maybe closed...The terminal you pass through to get to the shopping area she said, would be open. Downtown stores are closed due to the Junakanu Parade whichmarches down the main street,so that wouldbe a nice take in. I happened to catch this once,but, at another time of year.

I also spoke to The Atlantis,and everything is open as usual..shops, The Dig, etc....hope this helps.
