Me and my lovely wife are planning a cruise from Ft. Lauderdale to the Keys and Mexico. I understand my document requirements for returning to the US, but will I need anything special to visit Cozumel and Costa Maya...like a Visa or visitor card or something???
Nope, just carry your cruisehip card on and off the ship. Some cruisers like to carry along a copy of their passport, but leave all your extra cash, credit cards, etc. in your cabin save. Just bring enough for the day.

You should also take a picture ID (driver's license) into port.
As Donna said, don't take anything off the ship that you won't need. We usually take about $30.00 in cash and one credit card. We also bring a copy of our passports, just in case. It won't get you back into the US, but it will speed up the process, if necessary.
