What are cab fares from the Boston cruise port to downtown? Is there a shuttle available for cruise passengers

Here is some info,....

Cruiseport Boston, operating at the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal in the South Boston Waterfront District, is one of the most popular cruise ports in North America for a very good reason - its proximity to the City of Boston. To help passengers make the most of their Port of Call, a first class, round-trip shuttle is now in operation to get you where you're going safely, efficiently, and comfortably.

Operated by
Brush Hill / Gray Line / Beantown Trolley, the shuttle offers transportation on Port of Call days to some of Boston's best destinations, such as: the New England Aquarium, located on Central Wharf on Boston's vibrant Waterfront; Faneuil Hall Marketplace, the seat of American history and the site of one of America's most famous shopping and dining experiences and Copley Square, home to Trinity Church, the elegant and upscale Copley Place Mall; and adjacent to trendy Newbury Street.

Shuttles depart every 15 minutes from the Cruise Terminal on Port of Call days, approximately from the time passengers are first allowed to leave their vessel, until the time advertised by the vessel as the last opportunity to re-board.

FARE SCHEDULE FOR TROLLEY SHUTTLE: April through August:$8.00 one way$12.00 round tripSeptember & October:$10.00 one way$15.00 round trip
** Tickets and information is available within the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal. Brush Hill / Gray Line / Beantown Trolley personnel will be on site to assist all passengers and will provide escort to Trolleys and Coaches.

Default Boston

Remember Trip.. downtown Boston is/was all cowpaths and streets don'[t make sense...like there is no school on School Street, Just had an e-mail about all these crazy things..but do you know Boston is one of the few cities left in the world with an untouched park in the middle.,. The Boston Commons and the Public Gardens...sadly no more Filene's Basement or Woolworths..or Raymonds

Yup, as they said..wait till the cows come home! I used to work in Filenes Basement, ate chicken salad sandwiches in Woolworths, and used to go with my Mom, to buy hosiery, when you bought them by length..she was an 81/2 short! I also worked at Wilbars Shoe Store right there, and was one of the first woman shoe sales people in Boston....

What great nostalgia...the Essex Deli, the RKO where you could see vaudeville and a movie, and the corner window at Filenes with the Xmas Display.. Glad to see Jordans bought the Xmas display...Such fun times.hats and oriental rugs from Raymonds.
