Default Midnight Buffets

Does anyone know if Carnival still has their midnight buffets?

The gala midnight buffet is going the way of the Dodo bird. The midnight buffet is being eliminated or it may be completely gone. This is due to food waste, lack of interest and overall cost cutting.

There may "theme" buffets, usually on deck, that can be a Mexican Fiesta or other theme but they are hit and miss and not on all ships.

Take care,

Our last few Carnival cruises, they open up the Lido buffet late and offer basic stuff. I rarely ate at the midnight buffets, but they sure were elegant to look at.

This is another thing gone by the wayside, we can tell our grandchildren about...The waste for most of this food, I bet was unreal, and with everybody cost cutting, it was bye bye dancing chickens, and watermelon flowers

Thanks for your replies. I am hoping they will have something yet as my daughter and her husband, (2nd cruise for them) are taking their 2 children on their lst cruise. We'll be going with them. I have told them how great the buffets are. We were on Royal Caribbean last year with them and they had much of nothing. It is disappointing, but have realized the cost to do this. We never did eat anything, just went to look at everything and take photos.
