Default Travel agents and cruises

I am a travel agent(completely legal and above board) and was wondering if it is permissible to promote agency cruises on this site, and if so, what restrictions are there and how would I go about doing so?

You can promote your agency and group cruises by purchasing advertising. You can contact Paul Motter about this.

There is no problem with letting people know you are an agent but offering to sell or promote any cruise is not allowed. It is unfair to our paid advertisers if we let others advertise or promote their cruises in the message boards.

Postings that solicit bookings will be removed.

You can get more detailed information in our Terms Of Service. It is posted, as an announcement, at the top of all forums.

Take care,
Mike

I just wanted to be sure before doing anything. It has been quite some time since I have really used the board so I could not remember details.

Question

I assume you are allowed to help first-time cruisers who have any questions. Because I already selected a cruise ship and cabin type, I just need help with the basics of cruise planning and preparatoin.

I highly recommend you read the blog post linked below before deciding on a travel agent...

We certainly welcome the input of travel agents in our boards - they are some of the most well-informed cruisers out there.

And I don't mind if you mention you are a travel agent if it is pertinent to the conversation.

But naturally we cannot allow people to post cruise offers here because there is a conflict of interest.
