This is actually a great time to do a Trans-Atlantic crossing. The weather is "usually" better and the temps are great if you are heading to the Mediterranean or Western Europe. It will be cooler if your final destination is Northern Europe but not extremely cold. Also, if you arrive early in May then there will be fewer tourists and cooler temperatures when sightseeing. Mid-summer is a bear in Europe when you're sightseeing it is hot and congested.
No one can predict the weather or sea conditions but a Spring TA is a great time to go.

It's always amazes me to speak to people who have done our CM group trans cruises, when they say..the seas have been like glass...I like Mike's idea of the spring time cruise.....the possibilty of a nor'easter seems less likely....whateveryou decide..happy cruisin!
Trip, with her book & tea!
