There are lots of threads older than five years that have great information. Any newbie that does a search can instantly access this information.

Please don't delete posts, I am slowly working my way through. They are interesting and yes some are dated, but thats up to me to weed out and sort through ones that still matter. Thank you to moderators!
By using the "Search" function there is excellent general information available.
Old threads that come to the surface are often because people use the search function and have questions or comments on specific topics.
Then there are just spammers who use an automated system that looks for keywords and then slams a spam message onto a thread and resurrecting it. We try to delete these but if someone adds a legitimate post after the spam message then the old post gets a new life.
The "Post Count" is very important to many people. I remember when I removed some old boards and threads. This lowered a few people's post count. Boy, did we get some angry postings and emails.
Take care,
Mike
