Taking my daughter on a cruise for graduation. Only our second cruise and we stayed with family for the first one.
We will be driving from Nashville to New Orleans for our cruise & plan on getting there the night before as well as staying in NOLA the night after. I have discovered parking is an issue and have found hotels that offer free/reduced parking for cruises as well as 'Cruise packages'. (Sounds like I have this all under control doesn't it??)
Here's my question:
How EXACTLY do I book the dates? Do I enter arrival date the date we arrive & departure date the next day or the day we return from the cruise or do I book each single night (pre & post) separately?
I would contact the hotel of your choice on the phone and discuss this. That way there are no issues...Parking:Wouldn't you just pay at the hotel for the pre cruise portion, at check out,and the same for the post cruise parking? The hotel portion to be paid when you booked it? Maybe I am confused
Trip, with her book & tea!

Good Hotels on their own website always offer a CONTACT email ID or a chat online rep, another way to pose your question.
If you have a membership card for that hotel, mention it and mention you have been told by prior cruisers that parking while on the cruise was available. You want to confirm in person and get a contact email reply

now that you've booked your cruise; just call hotel directly; or go onto their website and look at the cruise specials they run. You can always email the hotel and ask your questions; once you receive an answer, you will be able to make your decision; good luck; if you have anymore questions just ask.
