Good time to book?

MY wife and I are setting sail so to speak on the 26th of march on a 14 day cruise to Hawaii(YAAAAA) Any way I was on the Princess web site today just to see if the price had went down or if the cruise was full.(price still the same and all cabin catagorys are still avilable) I noticed that Prince had came out with their cruises for 2013.We were thinking of taking a 10 day Mexicon cruise in 2012 I noticed they have one in 2013 that would work better for us. Do you think putting a depoist on the 2013 cruise while we are on the Hawaiin cruise is a good idea. Or How would you go about doing this? Any advice wpould be helpful thank you.

We booked our last cruise 13 months in advance and the prior cruise 6 weeks before sailing and did better that way ,who knows for sure .

I was just looking around on the message boards and noticed that I have alot of post on here this is my first time on a message board am I posting tomuch I just have alot of questions if I am being a pest just let me know.

Dont you get a reduced depoist if you book while on a cruise?

Definitely book it while on your Hawaiian cruise. Not only do you get a reduced deposit, you also get on board credit. You will also get price drops before final payment

If u book your next cruise onboard; you will get a discount of $50-250; depending on how many days your next cruise is.

On Royal Caribbean you can buy a next cruise certificate. What this does is; gives you $200 discount per person; and you don't have to book your cruise while onboard.

We will be on Princces sounds like we will be paying a vist to the cruise sale dept. Time to do some wheeling and dealing

This is what we've found on our last few Princess cruise's, but I can't find it on the Princess website

On the ship you'll find the Future Cruise Sales office. You can buy Future Cruise Credits for $100.00 per person. You don't have to book another cruise then, you have up to 4 years to book and if you don't use the Future Cruise Credits (don't know why you wouldn't

) you'll get your money back.

A Future Cruise Credit will serve as your deposit when you decide which cruise to book. You'll also get onboard credit from $25.00 to $250.00 depending on the length of your cruise and your cabin category.

It's a win-win situation!

I agree with Fern, its a win win. We are using our next cruise certificates that we bought over two years ago.

To give you an example of how they work, we bought too Future Cruise Credits on our Caribbean cruise last November. Yesterday I booked a 21 day Princess cruise. I used the two FCCs that I had (one in my name and one in my husband's), didn't have to pay anything more for a deposit (which is awesome seeing as the cruise is September 2012) and we both get $150 in On Board Credit. That $100 that I paid for each FCC has also now been put towards the price of our cruise.

We booked Ocean Princess, Barcelona to Venice... can't wait!! 21 will be the longest we've ever done. We have 17 coming up on Coral Princess.
