Well, if the stores on your ship carry Bijoux Terner products, you can get a tie for 10 bux from them. Acceptable quality for the price.

Try your local Goodwill, or seriously, borrow one from a friend/neighbor. Bring it with you, and find an attractive female pax to help you tie it

No ties at all at WalMart? I find that to be kind of ... interesting.

To be perfectly honest, you can get away without a tie.

On our Sapphire Princess cruise on formal nights, no one was turned away from the dining room, even those men not wearing jackets or suits.

There was one fellow who wore a cowboy hat to the dining room every evening, and he was never asked to remove it. Or if he was he told em to "shove it y'all"

Hi Dhill, is the JC Penney store still there? That would be a good place to look. If you borrow a tie, get the man you borrow it from to tie it before you go. Then you can just slip it over your head and tighten it !

The only suit you can rent onboard is a tuxedo and I don't think you want to wear one of those! As Kuki said, you don't really need a tie.

I can't believe it's almost time for your cruise! You've asked some great questions and I can't wait to read about how much you and DW love cruising !

Kuki, a "real" cowboy removes his hat indoors... .
