Oh I see - they work at the pursers desk and send maintenance people out to fix things as needed.
I would imagine you would work pretty long hours, maybe as many as 12 hours/day (with meal breaks of course). But I do not know. I would imaginer they need someone to do this 24-hours.
But then again, maybe it slows down at night so much that they don't have an assigned person. Then you might do 8 or 10-hour days.
