#1. I notice under each poster's name things like "member", "senior member", "admiral", etc. How is a person's rank determined, and how do you get a "promotion"? What responsibilities go along with that promotion/rank?

#2. I've noticed on another cruise forum website (we know who) that they have their own logo merchandise for sale. Has anyone here ever thought about at least having travel coffee mugs ( or any other travel merchandise) with the "Cruisemates" logo? Or maybe there already is and I'm not looking in the right place. Of course, I suppose I could go to Cafe Express.com and have my own travel mug made up. Just a thought.

I've wondered that question myself.

I can't say that I'd be in a rush to purchase a Cruise Mates mug .... but if Paul & The Gang, wanted to send one my way ... i'd certainly use it. Although, I'd much prefer that Paul asks me to review a sailign and sends me on an a CM paid holiday, um, er, I mean work assignment

Kuki does not rhyme with cookie,and yes he is Kuki! Remember that old song, Kooki, Kooki, lend me your comb? We all work from our homes, so no, I won't be skyping with anyone..lol

Why do you have to post to receive a promotion? I don't post very often because I can find an answer to almost any question I have here. I do visit the site almost every day. I enjoy reading about everyone's adventures at sea. Maybe there should be a ranking for us that visit daily but don't want to post.

Can't you just picture it? Everyone wearing Hawiian print shirts (or dresses), Bermuda shorts, sandals, a pitcher of margaritas by the receptionists' desk, Jimmy Buffet or steel drum music playing in the background. It could be a fun place to "work".
