Would it be possible to allow us to edit a post after making it . That would help with spelling errors ,gramatical errors ,etc .

Not to hijack, but it is possible for a few minutes (maybe 15 ???) to edit if you like for whatever reasons, after you make the initial post........

There is an "edit" button at bottom of post that will allow this...kinda like I just did after originally posting a response.

fun2 is correct:

I increased the time to 15 minutes a number of months ago. You can edit your post for 15 minutes or until someone else posts on the thread

There has been misuse when the post could be edited at any time. Someone would say something extremely inflammatory and then edit their post to make it look innocent.

The edit box is at the bottom of your post.

You can also "Preview Your Post" before you submit it. This also helps in spelling and other errors.

If you need or want to edit and its after 15 minutes, just let one of the monitors know what you want to change and we'll be happy to do it for you, not a problem.

I also noticed there is a spelling check button does that work also ?.Lord knows I can use that

If you click spell check it will initally ask you to download IE Spell. This is a safe program that is an add-on to Internet Explorer. It can also be used in any other IE session using the Spell Check option in the Tools menu.

Venice : Yes ,I have heard of the band .The Paul Motter Butterfield Blues Band is known all over my part of the world .I hope someday to be able to see the band live .Perhaps you and HB will join me .

Google Chrome has a built in spell check.
