$199 port fees for 2 night bahamas cruise?

I have been offered a 3day/2night, bahamas cruise, with no timeshare presentation, for $199 port fee per person. Is this steep for port fees or am I getting a deal?

Not a deal at all. First of all, port fees are NOT that high. I got a $9 refund on Carnival for missing a scheduled port.

I have to agree, doesn't sound right at all....Do they give you a cruiseline/ship? If you want a short cruise like that, I'd check around and see what they actually cost and go by that....I don't recall any of the major cruiselines having a 2 night cruise, usually 3-4 is the shortest, so I would check further with this so called deal, doesn't sound like one at all.

that 2 night cruise is a ferry to the bahamas on a sub standard ship i.e. Celebration Cruiselines....hardly a cruise in my eyes and not $$$ I would be spending for certain !

fun2cruiz is exactly right on this one, its a gambling booze-cruise

Run away! Run away!

I wouldn't do it. No matter what. It will be nothing like a standard cruise. It will be basically an overnight gambling run. It could be fun but don't expect a true cruise experience.

Take care,
Mike

You could go on a 3 or 4 night cruise on a regular cruiseline for that!!
