Does Carnival acknowledge birthdays if you donít order a cake to be served? Like when they bring dessert do they sing? I know they have it marked in our reservation that itís a birthday. I did order a cake for the one gals 50th b-day that falls two weeks before we cruise since weíre doing a 50th b-day cruise for her but itís also the other friends b-day on the day we sail. I did do a cake for her in 09 for her 50th I just want to be sure it gets acknowledged. I don't want anyone to feel cheated.
as long as it is noted in your booking, you should be covered for the bday to be acknowledged on the day you request w/ a slice of cake and candle, singing, etc, but I would check with your server or the restaurant manager to verify they have it on record when you board.

Robin, you're on the Liberty or Freedom, right? In reading Johns Blog, it seems on the Magic, and the new Breeze, cakes are now ordered through the Cherry on the Top, and there is a charge. Cabin decorations have a charge as well now.
