Should I buy a drink package?

Ok I know I have to buy a separate drink package for my husband and one for my self or I can opt to just charge by each individual drink on my seapass and pay when I get off. But my question, can somebody tell me about how much a mixed drink cost on the ship and what are the beer prices on just average drinks. Nothing fancy. I'm trying to figure out what is the cheapest way to go. If somebody has been on Celebrity it would be helpful. I know in Disney World a coke can be like 5 dollars so are drinks inflated on the ship like this. The package prices are:
Soft Drink/Juice/Water/Beer cost around 334.00
Soft Drink/Juice/Water/Wine 374.00
If I knew about what the mixed drinks and beer cost per serving plus 15% gratuity I could figure which would be best for my husband and I. Celebrity said we can bring two bottles of wine aboard but we have to keep it in our room because if we bring it to the table there will be a $25 charge. Sorry to keep asking questions but I just don't know what to expect and hate surprises when it comes to my wallet. Lol Thank you so much for being so kind and taking time to help me!!!!

Hi Grands,
You can not share a drink package (officially), if you get just one that person would have to go to the bar and get all your drinks and get them one at a time.

When I did the math on the Celebrity drink packages I think you would have get about eight drinks a day to make them pay off. Of course they do include the fru-fru coffees which don't appeal to me at all.

Thank you. I wonder when I get off at various ports (Alaska In-Side Passage) can you bring wines and stuff back on board? Do they scan through bags that are brought on for each stop?

They definitely scan the bags for security, whether they act on drinks they find is hit & miss I think. I don't know why they are so hard on alcohol when they allow soft drinks on, they make more money on those I think?
