DD 214 OK when there is no birth certificate?
My father was born in 1931,the year before good records were kept in our state. The vital statistics office can find no record of his birth certificate. He can apply for one to be made, but it takes several weeks. They have not been able to tell me exactly how long that is, and we leave in 3 1/2 weeks. He has an original DD 214 that lists his place of birth. Can he use this with his driver's license, and social security card to prove citizenship?
I'm getting desperate and worriedl |
Same deal with my father....apply for the one to be made...it makes things so much easier.
AS to your question, you better ask the cruise line. Whatever the answer, get then to email it to you so you'll have a record. Good luck. |
