Selling my Top Chef Cruise Tickets

Hi!

My husband purchased 2 tickets for the Top Chef Cruise on Celebrity Cruiselines sailing from April 11-15th for us for Christmas. He bought the insurance, just in case.

Well, we just found out that we are pregnant, and I will be 27 weeks along when the cruise is set to sail. Celebrity Cruiselines requires that you are no further than 24 weeks along when you are onboard. Sadly, the insurance we bought does not cover pregnancy!

Anyway, I wanted some advice on how to sell these tickets. We already got the go-ahead from the cruiseline that we can both switch our names for a small fee, but I have no idea how to go about finding someone to purchase them. Help!!!

There are agets who may have a better idea here, but I would first make absolutelly sure they are transferrable. If they are, you can try eBay.

If not - do your best to collect on the insurance your husband wisely bought.

I am wondering, since the cruise is so far out, why you simply can't cancel and get a refund?

Ah, good point - go to the Celebrity web site ad search for "cancellation poilicies" Herre is what I found. Generally, the time limit is 75 to 90 days before the cruise (depending on the length of the cruise)
