We were aboard the Grandeur when it had the fire. I must say that the crew, especially the fire fighters, were heroes that dark morning. RCI is to be commended with the way they handled the emergency. My question is....
we were told, by different RCI staff members, that the Future Cruise Certificates, would be $1,000 each. We received ours today & they are considerably less. I can't find out why. I wondered if any other passengers
have found the same issue.....
Have your agent call to see exactly why you got the amount you did.
From what I was told it was based on the cabin type you were in. In other words, the certificate was suppose to be good for a free cruise of equal amount and it would not be fair for someone who paid for an inside cabin to get the same amount as someone who was in a suite.
