Which of these ports have piers?

Barbados, St.Lucia,St.Kitts, St.Martin? Are any tender ports?

All have piers. The only "if" is St. Kitts. Very large ships (QM2, FOS, Oasis) may not be able to use the pier.

Take care,
Mike

I may add, in St. Maarten they have a newer pier that is a bit away from the downtown area and shopping...you can walk it, but there is also a water taxi, for around $3.00 per person that can take you...

Thanks Mike and Donna! Do you know if Carnival will use the new pier in St.Martin? And also how can I find out what other ships will be in the ports on the day's I am?

You should realize that the "ports" you are asking about are actually islands - and in most cases independent countries. Most of the places you mentioned have multiple ports; some with piers and some without.

I have been aboard the QM2 when she docked at St. Kitts. The QM2 has always anchored outside the harbor in St. Lucia.

There are only 4 that come to mind where you'd have to tender in, all private islands of various cruise lines; Disney's Castaway Cay, Princess' Princess Cays, Holland America's Half Moon Cay, and RCCL's Coco Cay. So if any of these ports are on your itinerary, depending on the cruise line you are on, be prepared to tender, or choose not to go ashore.

Thanks Donna, I figured these ports all have piers but since I am taking private excursions wanted to make sure as tendering needs more time.
