I plan to go on this cruise: 50 nights departing October 30, 2015 on
Holland America's Maasdam. If I got cruise insurance and something came up that I would have to cancel would the insurance cover my deposit.?
As long as you canceled prior to the final payment due date, you'll get 100% of your deposit back anyway. It's after that date where the insurance would get in and then you'd get a refund provided you had to cancel for a covered reason. Your agent can provide a copy of the insurance policy for you to look at. DO NOT purchase the insurance offered by the cruise line.
