Default Tokyo to Honolulu in April

We are considering a cruise from Tokyo to Honolulu in mid April. Any advice on weather and sea conditions? Is this a good time, especially as 70% of the cruise will be sea days? Will it be warm or cool?

It will be cool on the ship. I have sailed on the Pacific and it's never that warm.

In Hawaii it will be nice and warm. I am taking a trip to Hawaii this April myself.

Welcome to Cruisemates; Hawaii it in the north pacific; although it will be warm there; the cruise from Japan to Hawaii may be chilly; so much that you won't be able to sit outside

Actually Hawaii is in the South Pacific.

It will get warmer each day as you sail from Tokyo to Honolulu. It won't be very cold but it will be too chilly to do much around the pool.

Manuel; Hawaii is north of the equator; so it should be considered the north pacific ocean. It is directly across from San Fran and San Jose. Anything south of the Equator would be considered south pacific.
