Advice on sunscreen?

Hello, I am going to go on my first cruise next month to the Caribbean and wondering if anyone have any advice on how much sunscreen to bring? I heard it is really expensive on board, and being white mid-westerner that is prone to sunburn, I am a bit concerned. Is there medical help on board to deal with people with severe sunburn blisters or do you have to go to medical clinic when you get to shore?

Thanks!

Your best bet, is to purchase the highest number sunscren before you leave, will be half the cost as it is on the ship.

go to cvs or walgreens and buy a sunscreen with high SPF. 30-50. Also, buy one which is not too greasy where you can't wash it off your hands once you apply it. Most sunscreens will tell you on the tube if it is greaseless.

Whatever brand you buy will be good if you use it properly. I have had 3 real skin cancer surgeries from being out in the sun and NOT using sun protection .I learned the hard way.
