Cruising from Sydney Australia to Vancouver in 2010

Has anyone done this type of itenerary before

Sydney
Samoa
French Polynesia
Hwaii
Vancouver

We are looking at doing this cruise in Mar/Apr 2010
on the millineum.

All info or comments would be appreaciated.

You are aware that Vancouver has the Olympics in 2010 right?

That could pose a problem for a hotel stay? Check the dates of the Olympics just in case.

I live about 4 hrs north east of Vancouver. I have relatives in Vancouver
where I could stay oe just drive straight home that day.

It is avaiable from three cruiselines

1 - Holland America

2 - Celebrity in two sections Sydney - Honolulu & Honolulu Vancouver

3 - Royal Caribbean in two sections Sydney - Honolulu & Honolulu
Vancouver

The only two companies that do it are

1 - Holland America 2 - Royal Caribbean - has to be booked as two separate cruises

The info is on the HAL & RCI sites. To book RCI on line you have to

book directly with a RCI travel person(by phone because of

cruise airfare) or any TA(travel agent) can

handle the booking.

the cruise arrives in Vancouver a few months after the Olympics are

over.I have a very brutal work schedule during the Olympics and

Para Olympics

That is going to be my post Olympics rest. We are with RCI because

Celebrity canceled there cruise.

I've rescheduled our cruise for Sept 2009.
Vancouver to Sydney.
