Australia or New Zealand -- need advice

I took my first cruise to Alaska last year and I'm eager to take another one. I'm currently looking at Australia in November 2012. I would like to stay with Princess since I had such a positive experience with them. However, I need some itinerary advice.

I'm looking at a cruise of Queensland, 11-nights including a solar eclipse viewing. I would be interested in New Zealand, but the other itineraries that include New Zealand leave out a stop at the Great Barrier Reef, which to me, is one of those things I need to see. Here are links to the two cruises I'm considering and I would be very interested in any feedback you might offer of the pros and cons of each itinerary.

Do the NZ and Ozzy cruise starting from the NZ end and then do the Great Barrier Reef as a separate part of your holiday as you would enjoy spending more than one day there???

Why not do a cruisetour? I'm doing the 22 night in Nov. 2012. The eclipse won't be total on my cruise, but I've seen them before and cloudy weather is always a factor.

In Australia, I thought RCI's itineraries were much more appealing than Princess's, so much so that I just gave up my first Platinum status cruise.
