I was just writing an article on cruise values, and I noticed that Azamara has some very good deals on European cruises. The fares are quite reasonable for a premium-type ship.
Any opinions on the cruise fares of Azamara vs. Oceania, Crystal and other such competing cruise lines?

I haven't priced Azamara cruises; however, I had a wonderful cruise to Med on Seven Seas Voyager this past summer.
Paul, you might want invest in a spell checker for these boards or fix your keyboard.

The South American cruise I took on Azamara was a great cruise and it is the perfect size ship for my wife and me. It is not worth double the price that Premium cruise lines are charging. Perhaps 125% to 150% at the most.
The food was good - excellent but not consistently excellent. Service was very good, and that was to be expected.
I do have to qualify this in that we sailed only seven months after the line was in operation and there were some major kinks that were just being ironed out.
Take care,
Mike
