Default Millennium Dec.17th

Will be cruising for first time with my husband and 2 daughters ages 5 and 10. Looking to meet others who will be on this sailing with children? Also any recommended shore excursions for Western Caribbean? Any updates on the new milllennium also appreciated.

Hi Linda,
Its a good idea to put a post in the "meet on board" here at Cruisemates.
A great way to find other cruisers with kids, enjoy:

Linda,

In Key West, you'll probably just want to take the trolley into town and wander about on your own.

In Cozumel, you may want to take the kids to Chakanaab..great beach and facilities.

Calica: Dont miss Xcaret, the eco-archeological water park. Tons of fun for kids and adults with nature trails, beaches, todal pools, underwater rivers, swim with the dolphins and much more.

Grand Cayman...the kids would probably have a blast swimming with the sting rays.

Hope this helps. Or if you have specific things you want to do, drop me an e-mail as I have all of the excursion information.

We are on the 12/17 with my daughters and their families. Kids 9 & 6 in our group. Probably will be a lot more in that age group.

I agree with Tim on his list of points of interest, especially with kids.
Ok shopping in Cozumel for some things. We like the itinerary for watersports and chilling out.
