A Day In Nassau

We (2 adults and a 2 year old) will be in Nassau in January. We get in @11:00am and leave @7:00pm. We will be spending most of the day on the beach. The choces for the beach are:

Cable Beach
Paradise Beach

Having a 2 year old we would not be using any water sports or other activities. We would like to have a great sand, low tide and some kind of shade for a baby.
We are leaning to the Paradise Beach. It's a little closer to the ship and a town.
I would like your comments on the above beaches.

Thank you in advance.

ES:)

RE: A Day In Nassau

I actually think it's an even draw. Both are beautiful, pristine beaches. Neither beach has much shade so you'll probably have to rent an umbrella for the baby. I'm sure there are beach vendors for this purpose or you could probably rent a cabana from one of the resorts.

Enjoy!
