Default Living in the Caribbean for a month....

Has anyone ever inquired about living in the Caribbean for a month? I have a month of from work and am considering spending it in the islands. I was wondering if you can rent an apartment for a month on one of the islands and other stuff like that. If anyone has any pertinent information, I would appreciate the help. Thanks

Marc

Default I haven't decided yet

I will be starting my month vacation in San Juan, but will also have visited St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Antigua, St. Lucia, Aruba and Curacao during the next few months. I hope to be able to arrange something while visiting those areas so I will have arrangements made for the month I have off.

Hi Marc,
Actually any one of those islands would be wonderful to stay at for a month, hey I'd take a week :-) There are some links here for each island if you want to check that out and see if there is some way to arrange for some kind of rental for the month. If you scroll down towards the end, there are all the islands you listed, so at least that may be a good place to start. Would you be staying before you start work or after your contract is up? Let me know what all you can find out and hope it all works out OK.

After a contract and before another begins. I figure why go home and sit around for a month when I will be getting off the ship in San Juan and can just wait there and suffer the month before heading to the next spot.....good idea, huh...lol
