Default GRAND WESTERN ITINARY

My deposit confirmation letter lists "Majahual" as a stop. Is this in Mexico? The internet says it is in El Salvador. My travel agent says the stop was at Playa Maya. Is thi the same place? The Princess webb site doesn't even list a 4th stop.

Default RE: GRAND WESTERN ITINARY

Michael,

According to a press release dated 12 October 2000 on the Princess web site (http://www.princess.com),

"Grand Princess will now offer a seven-day Western Caribbean itinerary to debut next summer during its first year-round Caribbean season. This round-trip voyage from Ft. Lauderdale will feature stops at Cozumel, Grand Cayman, the new Mexican port of Costa Maya and Princess Cays."

The name "Costa Maya" literally means "Mayan Coast" so it probably refers to a relatively large area. "Majahual" probably is the name of the specific town where the ship will call in this region. Of course, it's entirely possible that there's another town in El Salvador with the same name.

Norm.
