Default 1st night dinner 10PM departure

First cruise was Majesty of the Seas, departing 5PM. We had casual dinner that first night.....This cruise is on Monarch of Seas, departing 10PM. Since we will be arriving by 1PM, should we expect open buffet meal available upon boarding, or should we plan on eating in San Juan, with first RCCL meal being breakfast the next day?

Hi Gail,
No, no need to go eat in San Juan, there should be a buffet when you board in the afternoon and regulare dinner times, so plan on eating on the ship. Have a great time!

After you have had lunch, you will have plenty of time to get off ship and tour Old San Juan too. Hop on the free Trolley which will take you all the way up to El Morro then walk down from there to save time and energy. It is a beautiful old historic city with many fine examples of architecture.
Bon Voyage
