Dawn Beach

Has anyone been to Dawn Beach on St. Martin? We are looking for good snorkeling on St. Martin. I had heard that Dawn Beach is better than Orient Beach for that? Thanks!

Dawn Beach was completely ruined in Hurricane Marily I believe and is also very difficult to get to from Phillipsburg. The resort is still closed to my knowledge which bears the same name.

I was at Dawn Beach and it was beautiful a month ago. It is not a nude beach and they have Mr. Busby's Island Spot there and you can rent chairs, umbrellas ect. The snorkeling is a little far from the beach but I believe it may be the only beach
with snorkeling from the shore on St Martin. We had planned on only staying a 1/2
day and ended up staying the whole day there. It's easy to get too at the the new pier they have a very organized taxi service and you just walk over to the area for Dawn Beach.We were off the boat as soon as it docked and they ended up putting us in a taxi van going to Orient Bay since it's on the way. There were plenty of taxi's for the way back. It did get crowded by late morning so I recommend getting there early for the best lounge chairs.

Did you dock in Marigot or Phillipsburg?
