help! Beaches St Maartin cupecoy

I went to Orient last year for the day and somehow it just didn't thrill me. I think I am used to the ST JOHN type beaches! Has anyone been to Cupecoy Beach on St Maartin? I heard great things about it. But don't know how hard it would be to get a return taxi to Phillipsburg since they have no facilities at the beach. What's everyones favorite beach as far as "beauty" on St Maartin/St Martin??

We loved Dawn beach you can snorkel and rent lounge chairs for a day. They also have a beach bar there. It is not a topless beach.

I have heard a lot of good things about Dawn beach but I have heard that it is hard to get to. How did you get there and back?
