Default Swim with dolphins/Chankanaab

We'll be going on Voyager next week, and I was wondering if someone could tell me about swimming with the dolphins at Chankanaab park. I heard there is a "Swim with the Dolphins" program that let's you swim, interact, "footpushed", and "dorsal fin dragged" with the dolphins BUT that these sessions are limited to only six people AND only offered 4 times a day. QUESTION: How easy or hard is it to get reservations, and HOW DO I DO IT? Do I just sign up when I arrive, or must I reserve way ahead? PLEASE help and thanks in advance!

Hi Paul,
You can make the reservations before you leave on your cruise, yes the space is limited. I've heard that this a great expierence, have fun, say "hi" to flipper.

Hi Paul - I did this the last time I went on a cruise and it was great - I will never forget the experience! I did it thru the internet, so I wasn't competing with space with everyone else on the cruise. I'm sure I just did a search for "swimming with dolphins" and their website came up. I asked them several questions, and they always responded quickly. You tell them what day you are in port and pay with credit card. We just taxied out to the park. It's nice being with only six others - you don't wait long for your turn for the next "trick" with the dolphins, and have a little more play time. They do pull you, but the neatest part was they each put a nose under your foot, you stand, and they lift you half out of the water and push you across the water! So fun! And it wasn't hard to do, either. They do take some pictures of you, and also do a video of the whole group. They put music to the video and it is really well done and pretty darn cute. Can't remember what they charge for the video and pics, but there is not alot of pressure to buy, tho they do ask you to reivew the video - it is quite humuorous! My husband got to go out on the dock and watch the whole thing, too, so he loved it as much as I did. Good luck and have a great time!
