St. Thomas Tram/Submarine

We will be going to St. Thomas in December on the Adventure of the Seas. The tram looks like a must do thing. We will be in St. Thomas from 8 am to 6 pm. Any recommendations on whether to do it first thing, in the middle of the day or at the end? I can imagine it gets swamped as soon as the ship starts unloading.

Also has anyone taken the Atlantis submarine trip? I called and they said it is $72 per person. Is it worth it? How are the views? Neither my wife nor I scuba, so this seemed like a way to see more.

Dave, I am going to turn your question around. Do you ever think you will go to Grand Cayman? That is where I would recommend an Atlantis submarine tour. As far as the tram, I would wait until after you have had a chance to do other things in St. Thomas; beach at Maegan's Bay, taxi tour to Mountain top, ferry to St. John and of course shop till you drop. A relaxing ride up the mountain is just he thing to finish your day in St. Thomas and the sun will probably be lower in the sky for good photography.

We went on the Atlantis Submarine in Barbados and loved it. I highly reccommend this tour. If you can't go scuba diving this the best way to be with the fishes.
