Crystal Palace in Nassau

How far is the Crystal Palace Casino and resort from the ship port in Nassau. Walk? Long cab ride? Short cab ride?

We went there about 10 years ago and it was a short cab ride, way too far to walk, but one of the biggest casino's I've seen, but haven't been to Vegas yet.
We did see a great show there, have fun.

We just returned from the Bahamas in March. We had been to Paradise Island a few times and needed a change so we ventured out to Crystal Palace (Cable Beach area). Very easy to get to by bus! We asked at the info booth by the port and was directed to the main street which is only 2 blocks from the ship. Took the #10 bus for only $1 (for anywhere on the island). The trip was about 20mins. Tell the driver where you are going and he'll tell when to get off. On the way back to the port we got off the bus at Arawak Cay which is like an outside Caribbean style food court where the locals eat. Had a wonderful lunch, got back on the next bus (buses go by very often). It was a wonderful day. If you need more info just email me. Have fun.

Thanks Maja. That sounds like a fun way to go. Sailing on the Millennium 2/2002 and will definately do that.
