Default Grand Caymans

Has anyone cruised to the Grand Caymans and then used Captain Marvin to go to Stingray Island? Did you taxi to his office, and how much was the taxi? We are a family of 5 and are trying to decide between car rental or taxi-ing around the island.
Did you like Captain Marvin or does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks

Catain Marvin's was the highlight of our trip. Make sure you buy the video they offer. We love to sit and watch it. We had a big group and somehopw he gets everyone on the video. Captain Marvin's picked us up at the pier. I think we paid $71.00 per couple. Maybe they picked us up because we were a big group. Iam not sure.

We used Soto's Charters, Ltd. to go to Stingray City and 2 additional snorkel stops. They were wonderful! We took a cab there $7.00 total and then they rode us back. I believe the price was $28 pp. We were the only ones at Stingray City, as the cruise ship tours left when we arrived. We saw 2 large eels snorkeling at the barrier reef. It was the highlight of our cruise. Here is their number if you are interested:

Have a wonderful trip!

Just booked snorkling and Sting Ray City tour with Capt Bryans. Usually about 20 people on the boat. He has two different boats. $35 and three stops on the half day tour. Equipment is furnished and ice and water are onboard as well as bathroom. We are a family of 6 booked on SS Norway, July 8th.
