Default Bermuda

Anyone know on my chances of booking a last minute cruise to Bermuda? We are looking on going the 2nd week in August, but I am not sure I will get the week off until the end of July. Any suggestions or am I grasping at the impossible here???? We chose Bermuda because we live in NY and don't need airfare, which is sometimes a problem finding last minute.

Hi Marc,
You may want to post in the "bargain finder" here in Cruisemates and see if any travel agents can come up with something for your time schedule, its worth a shot anyway, good luck:

I recently started selling cruises as an outside agent and I've gotten some rates for a friend who is interested in any date during July or August. The rates have gone up since last month and the availability is very low. Seems like lots of past passengers on the Bermuda run rebook year after year and the lines really don't have to worry about filling the ships.
When you find out the date, email me and I will look into it for you. Also, I live in NJ and the agency is one of the nation's largest and promises to beat any rate.

It looks like I will know for sure in mid July-I don't want to spend a ton of $$$ because we are going on a 2 week cruise later in the year, but if something comes available I will book it. Any chances of booking the Norweigan vessel leaving from Boston in August?

Thanks,

Marc

Hi Marc,
May-be you should try posting in the "bargain finder" here and see if anyone can come up with what you're looking for:

there is a travel company called Moments Notice - in Brooklyn. The prices can be great & lower than most. They are reputable & I have used them in the past. The telephone # is 718-234-6295.

The web site is

Default Bermuda

Last year in moments_notice web site I found a cruise out of Philadelphia and it was about $400 per person for 7 days on the Crown Dynasty (I think). The price included everything.
The ship is smaller, it carries about 800 passengers, but the service and food was very good. I'd recommend it. Bermuda is the most beautiful island I've ever seen and that's including Hawaii, Jamaica, Cozumel and the bahamas
Good luck.

you can also check www.icruise.com they are giving pretty good deals to Bermuda from New York. I don't know what August looks like but i paid less than $900 for June 17th
