I am taking my 2 sons on the RCI Majesty this August, I understand you can book a room at the Comfort Suites for @150 plus tax and have full access to the atlantis facilities. My boys 10 and 13 are great swimmers...I know they would love it,,,the other option maybe 100 dollars less for all of us would be to do the Discover Atlantis excursion-just see it not have actual use of Atlantis. Any opinions out there of whether to spend the extra $$ or not???? from those who have been to or have seen the water park
All I can say is that we did the tour, and that was certainly worth the money, its just a place you have to at least see. Unfortunately we were only in Nassau until 2, so we certainly couldn't take the time to really do the water part, I hear its something else, just not sure its worth that much money, thats for U to decide, but definately go and take a look at the place, the aquarium is awesome!
Have a great cruise!
We stayed at the Comfort Suites for a week this past April and loved it! I was also thinking about getting a room in January when we stop in Nassau for the day (on Explorer). The tour only gives you access to the aquarium, casino and grounds, but you cannot use the pools/slides. It all depends on how much time in port. Your kids would definitely thank you. The pools and slides are terrific and would add so much more to the day for your kids. It would be well worth the price if you have enough time to enjoy the water facilities at Atlantis.
