Has anyone ever gone on the Fiesta Party boat in cozumel. It takes you to Playa Sol Beach Club...In a description of the tour, it says free open bar, what does that include? Also are their water sports free of charge? Non-motorized or motorized?
We took this party boat back in 95', wow, what a party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The booze was free flowing, your are lucky if you can even walk off the boat to get back on the ship when you return. We rented a wave runner(before the free flowing booze) and had a ball at the beach. I even held two iguanas, and I'm scared to death of lizards, (see what free flowing booze will do to you)
Be careful.......But have a wonderful time it's tons of fun.
The next year we went to Carlos and Charlies instead, that was fun too.
Another fun thing we did in Cozumel was take the horse and buggy into town, there were 9 of us and our drivers raced each other down the street, not to safe but a load of fun. (by the way we won).
Have a great time.
Gina,
If you are cruising with RCL, they have a description at their sight. You can only access it, I believe, with a cruise I.D. #.... I did a cut and paste for you......
Join the Fiesta party boat for a fun-filled trip to Playa Sol, one of Cozumel's beautiful beaches. Unlimited margaritas, rum punch and a live band set the mood for fun. At Playa Sol, enjoy about 1 hours of relaxing, swimming or working on your tan. The party continues after reboarding the Fiesta with a pinata party, music and dancing. Don't miss this lively Mexican party.
I do not recommend this Fiesta Party Boat excursion. I went in March and it was terrible. All the margaritas and rum punch you can drink is horrible. The margaritas and rum punch taste like watered down kool aid w/ a pinch of tequilla. They give you all the drinks you want but they are horrible. Once you get to Playa Sol they have bars but guess what you can not get drinks from the bars you have to drink the margaritas and rum punch from the Fiesta Boat. In order to get the drinks from the bars you have to have a wrist band which cost an additional $25 - $30 bucks.
If you want to go to Playa Sol, I suggest you catch a cab and go to Playa Sol and purchase the wrist band and enjoy a day on the beach. DO NOT GET ON THE FIESTA BOAT!!!
Or skip all of this and go to Carlos and Charlies, which is what I will definitely do next time.
