Belize & Roatan
I was wondering if all cruise ships docked or tendered people in Roatan & Belize?

Re: Belize & Roatan
When we cruised with NCL Christmas 1999, we docked at Roatan. Many people were put off by the appearance of near the dock. I found the "tourist" office at the dock. Many taxis to take you places. I would like to go back for a week at Anthoney's Key for week for snorkling. Very friendly people and most spoke English. Beautiful Islands away from the dock. Think we had to tender to Belize City. Language in Belize is English. Belize follows the British holidays. Enjoyed the tour to the Belize Natural Zoo. Snorkling is off shore away from Belize City.
Enjoyed the ports, but not the NCL staff or service or poor Dailey Bulletin. Wrong times and locations for shops and other activies in the bulletin. Also 2X wrong menu posted. MSEm

The new Carnival Pride coming out in January makes a stop a Belize City.

Re: Belize & Roatan
according to NCL website for the SUN's itinerary, we DOCK at ROATAN from 11am to 6pm and we ANCHOR off BELIZE from 8am to 5pm. We're going Dec.1st and can't wait!

Re: Belize & Roatan
You dock in Roatan and tender in Belize. Was on the Wind this past March, they ran aground in Belize and broke a stabilizer, what a rough ride it was after that! LOL
