Default Costa Maya

Trying to get all of the info I can re Costa Maya. Since it seems to be a new stop can't find out a whole lot. How are the beaches? Is it worth it to take the beach break excursion from the ship? Anything else of interest other than the excursions to the ruins? Have been to several of the Mayan sites on previous visits to Mexico so don't want to do that again.

Appreciate any help I can get. Leaving on the Rhapsody in 1 month, 12 days, 23 hours, 19 min. I'm not anxious or anything!!!

Judy

Costa Maya is not much of anything ... just a place to go from to somewhere else on ShoreX's.

This seems to be the happening thing in Mexico these days. Calica, Costa Maya, and Progreso are places where nada is happening so a terrific profit center exists for the ShoreX business.

Thanks Pamda. Looks like that will be a beach or pool day for me. Good time to find out what goes on on the ship when everyone else is in port.

Judy....We were in Costa Maya last week. They have a salt water pool there with plenty of chairs (but so does the boat). We enjoyed the show they have there in the small ampitheater. We did the 4 hour Chacchoben ruins tour, and enjoyed it. The shopping is limited, but we got some decent deals. I have posted a couple of pictures in the gallery that shows Costa Maya. We were on the Zenith last week......John
