We are thinking of booking Sam Lords. How is the resort. Are reservations a hastle at the restaurants. Why do they offer in there adds that there is a shuttle to the beach with a boxed lunch. The picture of the resort appears to show the beach within easy walking distance. We stayed at the Almond Beach Club and were wondering if this is somewhat comparable.
I day tripped to the hotel several years ago. I felt it was isolated and on the rough side of the island as far as beaches are concerned. Picked up a lot of tar on my feet and swwim suit. The caribbean and southern side have a lot of great hotels with accessability to town. JP
